Full Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team at Adversity Academy. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.
  2. Manage and maintain all social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  3. Create and curate engaging content, including posts, videos, graphics, and other multimedia assets, to share on social media platforms.
  4. Monitor social media trends, news, and developments to identify opportunities for engagement and content creation.
  5. Engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Analyze social media metrics and performance data to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and optimize strategy accordingly.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, content, and design, to align social media efforts with overall marketing and branding initiatives.
  8. Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in social media marketing and digital communication.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully managing and growing social media channels for brands or organizations.
  2. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and tools, including but not limited to Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Analytics, and Instagram Insights.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with target audiences.
  4. Creative thinker with strong visual design skills and an eye for detail.
  5. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in social media marketing or digital communication are advantageous.
