Adversity Academy is seeking a proactive and organized Speaking Gig Virtual Assistant to provide administrative support to our speakers and facilitate the coordination of speaking engagements. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and is ideal for individuals who thrive in a virtual work environment.

Position Overview:

Position Title:

Speaking Gig Virtual Assistant

Salary:

Hourly rate, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist speakers with the coordination and scheduling of speaking engagements, including virtual events, webinars, workshops, and conferences.
  2. Communicate with event organizers, clients, and stakeholders to coordinate logistics, confirm details, and ensure smooth execution of speaking engagements.
  3. Manage speaking gig calendars and schedules, including booking appointments, arranging travel accommodations, and coordinating speaking arrangements.
  4. Prepare and distribute speaking gig materials, including presentation slides, handouts, and promotional materials, in collaboration with the speakers.
  5. Assist with the creation and maintenance of speaker profiles, bios, and promotional content for marketing purposes.
  6. Provide administrative support to speakers, including managing email correspondence, organizing documents, and maintaining accurate records.
  7. Monitor and track speaking gig inquiries, responses, and follow-ups to ensure timely and effective communication with clients and event organizers.
  8. Assist with post-event activities, such as collecting feedback, preparing post-event reports, and updating databases with relevant information.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in administrative support or virtual assistant roles, preferably in a similar capacity.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, speakers, and stakeholders.
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Proficiency in virtual communication tools and platforms, including email, video conferencing, and project management software.
  5. Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with remote teams.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience and skills will be considered.
