Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to staff members regarding IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including computers, printers, servers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, either remotely or on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure security and compliance with organizational policies.
- Monitor system performance, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to optimize the performance and reliability of IT systems.
- Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and services as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, warranties, and service agreements.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, including user guides, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT support administrator, technical support specialist, or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Relevant certifications and additional training are advantageous.
