Full Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Associate to join our team at Adversity Academy. The Marketing Associate will play a key role in executing marketing strategies and campaigns to promote our programs and initiatives and engage with our target audience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote Adversity Academy’s programs and initiatives across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and print.
  2. Create compelling and engaging content for marketing materials, including but not limited to blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, and website content.
  3. Manage and maintain social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement with followers.
  4. Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, posters, and banners.
  5. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights to inform marketing strategy and decision-making.
  6. Assist in the planning and execution of events, workshops, webinars, and other promotional activities.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, content, design, and program management, to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging and branding.
  8. Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics and KPIs to track progress, measure effectiveness, and optimize campaigns.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and digital communication.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in marketing, communications, or a related role, preferably in a nonprofit or educational setting.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
  4. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, and content management systems.
  5. Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in marketing or digital communication are advantageous.
